A self-taught artist, Ravi’s practice deepened through her active involvement with the Fine Arts and Photography Society at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi (2010-2013) where she sustained a rigorous daily discipline across a wide range of media, a formative period that culminated in several exhibitions. Her work has more recently been shown in group exhibitions at the 10th Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa (2025) and the Moinuddin Ahmad Art Gallery, Aligarh (2026).
She revived her studio practice in 2025 through the Drawing Intensive Programme at the Royal Drawing School, London and is currently engaged in the School’s Online Drawing Development Year (2026).
Ravi studied English Literature for her undergraduate degree at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi (2013), followed by a Master’s in English Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (2015). Her MPhil dissertation, Sketching Dissent into Democracy (2017), examines political cartoons from the Emergency era in India. She went on to teach as an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi (2017-2019).
In 2010, she co-founded Alphabets, an initiative working towards the educational uplift of underprivileged sections of society.
