Alaka Ravi (b. 1992) is an artist based out of Delhi, India.

Forever drawn to the overt and covert principles of individuation, Alaka’s art explores the perpetually shifting yet fixed relationships between the self and its surroundings. The ecstasies and anxieties of human existence, especially in its failure to negotiate with the fundamental truth of mortality, emerges as the register par excellence for portraying an affective and intellectual story that is both particular and universal. Bodies, objects, and space emerge in her work as the site of this negotiation through their discrete yet structurally continuous existence and experience.​​
